                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A
                  RIGHT-OF-WAY FROM MATTHEW L. SWOOPES AND
                  BERNICE SWOOPES, RELATIVE TO CONTRACT NO.
                  RW-5-96, NORTH CHAMBERLAIN AVENUE, TRACT NO.
                  19, FOR A CONSIDERATION OF ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-
                  FIVE DOLLARS ($125.00).

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       purchase of a right-of-way from Matthew L. Swoopes and Bernice
       Swoopes, relative to Contract No. RW-5-96, North Chamberlain
       Avenue, Tract No. 19, for a consideration of $125.00.
